Every 2 seconds, someone in the country is in need of blood. Every year our nation requires about 4 crore units of blood, out of which only a meager 5 lakh units of blood are available.
Lions club serves as a platform where donors and recipients could come together. We conduct blood donation camps in colleges to create an awareness of blood donation among the public, thereby motivating blood donation among the mass. We maintain a directory of blood donors which plays a vital role in case of emergency blood requirement.
Every year our we collect 3000 to 4000 units of Blood and donated to various Blood Banks in Erode and Coimbatore
